How we Started

K.C. Confectionery Limited began in 1922 as a cottage industry and has diversified and expanded today to a fast paced, people-driven company that is foremost in technology and innovation. The family-run company developed into a factory in 1957 and became fully automated by the early 1990’s. The budding Candy Company experienced a significant increase in Human Capital that resulted in advanced expertise, propelling the Company into a household name at national level, and obtaining high recognition from international markets.

Where we are

We are honored to be the Caribbean's Largest Candy Manufacturer, exporting sixty-five percent (65%) of its products to 18 different territories including United States of America, Canada, Central and South America, Netherland Antilles, the United Kingdom and throughout the Caribbean region.

Quality Standards

A team of trained technicians in a contemporary laboratory ensures the manufacture of the highest quality of candies. A Total Quality Management (TQM) approach has been adopted in which all personnel of the Company are an integral part. These structures and more, are designed to guarantee optimum product quality and highest customer satisfaction.

Innovation

The company recently launched its new and innovative KC Ginger and Turmeric Butter Nut Bar. This healthy, delicious new version of the KC Butter Nut is loaded with protein and vitamin E. It’s gluten free and contains 20% less sugar and features the combined taste of Ginger and Turmeric.

Of course, when any Trinbagonian hears the word Butter Nut they automatically think of our famous “We love KC Butter Nut” Song. The great tasting Butter Nut Bar has been around for many decades, satisfying the desire of many kids and adults in Trinidad and Tobago as well as the Caribbean.
